The efforts of Transcarpathian prosecutors restored the rights of more than 300 children
Significantly intensified advocacy prosecutors on the protection of the rights and freedoms of children, the interests of the state in the field of child protection. Thanks to the proper organization of work in this area this year, prosecutors submitted more than 100 claims totaling more than 3.3 million UAH., of which currently already granted 68 in the amount of 3 million USD. 11– closed in connection’connection with voluntary execution of the claim. Increased the number of claims asserted in the interests of the state in the economic order, administrative proceedings – 48 claims. Thanks to the efforts of prosecutors in the current year educational institutions, returned to the premises on which illegally placed a travel company, a non-food stores, substations telecommunication’communication; repealed unlawful acts of bodies of local self-government and restore the rights of children from poor families preferential terms of payment of food in schools, and so on. Prosecutors participated in the trial of 289 cases, representative actions restored the rights of more than 300 minors. In the field of child protection identified 14 criminal offences. Thanks to the measures taken in the region there is a decrease in the proportion of crimes committed by juveniles from 5.6% to 5.1 %. Bodies of Prosecutor's office of area given due attention to the issues of children's rights in the execution of judicial decisions in criminal proceedings and other coercive measures. In the current year on these matters by bodies of Prosecutor's office of area made of 17 documents of Prosecutor's reaction by results of which consideration to take measures to protect the rights of minors. For example, for the intervention of the industrial division of the regional Prosecutor's office resumed the right of minors, which is contained in the remand prison UIN No. 9, to receive the certificate of basic secondary education in Makiivka vocational school of social rehabilitation.
