Complicated political and economic situation affects the labour market of the region. Typical trends are the decrease in the average recorded number of full-time employees, the presence of arrears of wages, a reduction in the number of employers who inform the employment service about job vacancies, reduction in the quantity of vacancies, and the like. On 1 January 2016 registered in the employment centers of the region were unemployed 12662. Among them, women accounted for 54.7%, young people under 35 years – was 41.5%, rural areas – by 55.4%, workers – by 42.4%, employees – 40,4%, persons who have additional guarantees regarding employment assistance – 32,4%. Unemployment on that date was received 10646 unemployed (84.1% from the total). The average amount of this aid since the beginning of last year grew by 22.6% and amounted to UAH 1230,85. On one free working place in average Ternopil claim 13 unemployed. The greatest demand among local employers use workers in the sphere of trade and services skilled workers, workers in maintenance, operation and monitoring of technological equipment, Assembly equipment and machines, have informed in the Department of organizational and information work of the regional employment center. Last year with the assistance of the employment centers of the region were able to provide jobs 24423 persons, from them 11079 unemployed. Compensation costs employers a single fee for obligatory state social insurance employed 457 countrymen. One-time unemployment assistance for the organization of entrepreneurship has received 409 unemployed. To participate in public and other works of a temporary nature brought 5047 people, of whom 1517 taken on permanent jobs. With the aim of increasing competitiveness on the labour market 4277 unemployed took part in training or upgraded their qualification at the expense of means of Fund of obligatory public social insurance of Ukraine in case of unemployment. Completed training 4007 3821 persons and persons already employed (95.4 percent). 52 citizens who are over 45 years of age published free training vouchers.
