At the invitation of the Office of reforms in the Zhytomyr region to the village of Red Andrushivka district – administrative center of the newly formed United territorial community, on 18 January there arrived the group of experts and consultants of the Foundation of managerial initiatives led by its founder and Chairman of the Board p. Pavel Prokop (M. Lublin, Poland). Within a few days the Polish experts together with representatives of the County Council GTG, active public work on creation of Strategy of development of the United territorial community, which will meet all European requirements and options. In the short term, this document will become the main "pass" for the unimpeded participation in all international programs and grants of the EU. "We are pleased that the experts of such a respected organization as the Foundation of Managerial initiatives have responded to our request to visit one of the nine newly established United territorial communities of Zhytomyr and teach members of the local Council, an asset in a short time time to prioritize, plan, budget, create accessible centres providing administrative services to people, it is optimal to form a team of performers and to attract members of the public to make management decisions. As a result of the joint work will be the writing road map development Strategy, resulting in joint territorial community will have the opportunity more confident, along with the municipalities of the leading European States to get funding from European Union's funds for street lighting, greening of settlements, insulation of houses, the purchase of medical equipment, and much more, and therefore, change the standards of the quality of people's lives for the better," - said the Director of the Office of reforms Roman Slazinski. During the visit of the Polish partners has scheduled a meeting with representatives of the Council of the village Chervonenko GTG, members of its Executive Committee, deputies, residents of the villages that became part of the United territorial community. As stressed by p. Paul Prokop, for writing an important document of a territorial community – development Strategies need maximum information in all spheres of life: society, education, infrastructure, economic activity, culture, tourism, quality of life, local administration and so on. The lion's share of information about the local community which has provided the Office of reforms in the Zhytomyr region. "Our goal is to share practical experience of the Polish European integration and promoting reforms in the sphere of local self-government and decentralization of power that we ourselves have not so long ago adopted in Germany, Italy, France and other countries. I think Ukrainian territorial communities, which had chosen the difficult path of change and went for this first stage of unification of the territories will be able to use it for maximum benefit and impact", - said the head of the Fund. Help. Foundation of managerial initiatives operates within the framework of implementation the Polish-canadian democracy support programme and is a joint initiative of the governments of Poland and Canada. Its objective is the stabilization of the economy, attracting an increasing number of citizens of Ukraine to create effective democratic institutions, particularly local government and support independent media. The program, which is funded by the governments of the Republic of Poland and Canada, began last year and will be valid until 2017. in Ukraine, with the assistance of the Foundation of managerial initiatives implemented the project "Ukrainian administration of the future". In the framework of this project it is planned to develop Strategy of development for 22 of the consolidated territorial communities of Ukraine. In the Zhytomyr region elected amongst Chervonenko GTG. The experience gained will be extended to other United territorial communities of the region.
