The results of corruption counteraction on the territory of Rivne
Due to the Prosecutor's office Area measures aimed at effective implementation of anti-corruption legislation, law enforcement authorities investigated and sent to court 64 criminal proceedings relating to corruption offenses, which enrolled 65 people (including with respect to 26 individuals on the facts of obtaining illegal benefit). Mostly of the facts a criminal convicted of corruption in land relations, health, education, privatisation, transport, and budgetary and financial systems. Among the prosecuted civil servants 7, 10 officials of local self-government, 4 employees of internal Affairs bodies and penitentiary employees in state 2 and Executive services, and 9 officials of other state authorities and officials of legal entities of public law that receive salaries from the budget and others. State prosecutors in court has been proved guilty of 34 persons in the Commission of corruption crimes. The amount of damage caused to the state interests in Mature processes of corruption offenses, there were 1.1 million USD. Of them have been recovered 209 thousand UAH. In addition, the pre-trial investigation authorities for the purpose of compensation of damage it is seized property of suspects totaling UAH 7.2 million, prosecutors filed lawsuits over $ 478 thousand hryvnias. Law enforcement agencies of the region also took measures to combat administrative corruption of karani. So, the court directed 84 protocols on the administrative offenses, connected with corruption. By results of consideration by courts of cases on corruption offenses already prosecuted 72 officers (including 29 local councils of deputies). Most violations concerned the failure to comply with requirements concerning communication about the conflict of interests, restrictions on compatibility and incompatibility with other activities, receipt of gift, requirements of financial control, failure to take measures on combating corruption. On the guilty the court imposed a penalty in the form of a penalty totaling 20 820 USD. Prevention and countering corruption remains one of priority directions of activity of law enforcement agencies in the area, in particular the Prosecutor's office. Work in this direction continues.
