Transcarpathia: the Prosecutor's office of area began criminal proceedings according to media reports on the provision of land for surrogates
Zakarpattia the Prosecutor's office of area began criminal proceedings concerning officials of the Main Directorate of Derzeitiger on the fact of abuse of power or official position (part 2 of article 364 of the criminal code of Ukraine) after the operational study described in the media information that those officials had been granted in the property of citizens-inhabitants of other regions of Ukraine, land plots for conducting personal peasant farms with a total area of about 20 hectares. The Prosecutor's office established that the land granted to students of higher educational establishments of Ternopil and Ivano-Frankivsk oblasts. The use of surrogates in such cases is a typical example of illegal deals with land resources. According to the public cadastral map of Ukraine, these lands are adjacent to the international road «Kyiv - Chop", for the M-06 and constitute a significant commercial appeal. The legality of granting land and the legality of actions of officials of the Main Directorate of Derzeitiger in the Transcarpathian region is checked by the investigating authorities during the investigation of criminal proceedings, the results of which will be given proper legal assessment.
