In Lutsk mayor Mykola Romaniuk thanked the participants of the creative project “the Christmas shop”

11 December 2015, started the “Christmas workshop”. This project has already become traditional and is implemented jointly by Department of culture city Council and NGO “Volyn Ryotwari”. The wizard taught children, conducted master classes on making new year and Christmas merchandise, Souvenirs, greeting cards, Christmas decorations and the like. And here took place the summarizing of the project “Christmas workshop”. The head of culture Department Tetiana Hnativ said that within a month everyone had the opportunity to learn how to produce a variety of products, study carols and Christmas songs, and traditions celebrating Christmas and New year. “It is very important to keep traditions and pass them on to future generations. They are the spiritual Foundation of our nation. Thanks to all who have joined the project,” she said. Addressing the gathering, mayor Nicholas Romaniuk congratulated with new year and Christmas holidays, wished them health, happiness, luck and peace in our country. He was pleased that every year the number of participants of the project “Christmas workshop”. This time, according to the mayor, over 500 children learned songs, studied the tradition of celebrating Christmas, hand made Christmas gifts. “I am always pleased to come to here. It's warm atmosphere, friendly and interesting. You teach children ancient Ukrainian traditions that have come down to us from antiquity. The authorities must create conditions for practice and to contribute to such an active masters. Thank You for work, for learning and desire to share my skills,” he said.
