In the Volyn region continue information raids on training of citizens safety on ice
January 20, rescuers SSES continue to implement preventive measures to prevent tragic accidents on the ice. In particular, the members of the Novovolynsk city Department of the office DSNS Ukraine in the Volyn region held an information RAID on the city reservoir, where fishermen were instructed on the rules of conduct on the ice. Rescuers reminded the fans of winter fishing the main features of safe ice and noted that under a layer of snow the ice strength is questionable. Because virtually the entire area of the reservoir is covered with snow, employees of gschs stressed to be especially vigilant. They also noted that when going ice fishing, you need to take care of the simplest means of salvation, which can be useful in critical situations, and hearing the crackle of ice underfoot, be careful to go back. The same day, preventive RAID took place in the village of Lokachi where rescuers visited the scene of fishing in the local pond and on the river Luga.
