On January 17 , the anniversary of the death of Vladimir Rot in his native village Abency memorial plaque. The opening ceremony was attended by family, friends and brothers-in-arms of the hero -"cyborg," the Chairman of regional state administration Vitaliy Whip, Chairman of the regional Council Vasyl Boichuk and other district officials, teaching staff, students and all concerned who reveres the memory of the Hero. The right to open a plaque was given to the sister of the Hero - Mariana, a classmate of Vladimir and fighting fellow – villager Ivan. In good Christian tradition, the local priest had consecrated a memorial Board. Village head Anatoly Lachman read out the decision to grant the educational institution the name of the Hero-defender Volodya Trash , noting that the cost of thousands of lives defended our sovereignty and independence of our country. "Let the death of Volodya will not be in vain. And Ukraine will receive a long-awaited peace, harmony and tranquility," he said. Speakers noted the high human qualities of the man, he knew how to make friends and always came to the aid of others. Performances were intertwined with rhymed lines which sounded from the lips of children and songs about love to Ukraine and its Heroes. After a brief rally, those gathered lit the lamps and laid flowers at the memorial plaque installed on the building of the school. Also the consecration of the area of memory in this school.
