In the Zhytomyr region told how it will change education in the context of decentralization
In the context of decentralization of powers of the Central authorities, the Government introduced changes in the procedure of creation of educational districts, as well as the conditions for functioning of educational institutions.The corresponding resolution was adopted at a meeting on 20 January 2016. The amendments will give more powers to the joint territorial communities, local governments and district level to decide the structure of the network of secondary schools. Support General educational institutions, which will be created on the ground, will be equipped with modern material-technical base, in particular, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, mathematics, educational computer systems, multimedia equipment, and the like. To this end, in December last year, the Government increased funding of the education sector 121 771 000 UAH. Also will solve the issue of organizing transportation of students and teaching staff by school buses to pilot schools.
