during fire fighting in the educational building of Khmelnytsky national University, 5 firefighters rescued and evacuated 10 people
21 January at 10:15 in Quickly-the coordination center of head Department of the State service for emergency situations of Ukraine in the Khmelnitsky region received the message about the fire in the academic building ¹2 Khmelnitsky national University. About the incident in the "rescue 101" said one of the school staff, who saw that from one of the classrooms is the smoke. Immediately to the scene by an increased number of a call there arrived rescuers of the State service for emergency situations of the regional center of 20 personnel in 5 units of fire and special equipment. During the implementation of exploration and extinguish the fire rescuers with the help of extendable ladders rescued from the upper floors back side of the academic building 5 people, and evacuated the 10 people who themselves are unable to leave smoke-filled building. Because of the strong smoke rescuers worked in devices of protection of respiratory organs. Thanks to prompt actions of firefighters and timely mobilization of forces and means fire area of 15 sq. m localized in 10:23 and completely eliminated at 10:25 on initial phase II development, thus saved from destruction by fire, educational building ¹2.
