In Chernivtsi will work international aviation forum
international aviation forum "the Role of the airport "Chernivtsi" in economic development and tourism in the region" will open on 25 January in Chernivtsi. The event is organized by the city government together with the civil aviation Association "Airports of Ukraine", Association of leaders of tourist industry of Ukraine, LLC "AVAPLAS" and KP "international airport "Chernivtsi". The Forum was attended by the President of the Romanian Association of airports, heads of airports "Suceava" and the "Cluj-Napoca", representatives of all-Ukrainian aviation Association "AOPA-Ukraine", cargo and passenger airlines, in particular, "Turkish Airlines", "YanAir", "Urga", "Ukraine-Aerolinas", as well as leading tourist agencies and hospitality business. The forum aims to enhance air service at the international airport "Chernivtsi", to restore regular flights and to identify ways for further development of this mode of transport in our region. Foreign colleagues will share their experience and peculiarities of attracting European "low-cost" airlines, the benefits of the regime "open Sky". We will focus on the requirements for passenger ground handling, cargo planes, private aviation, aviation insurance, the organization of work of agencies on sale of air transportations, the hotel offers air-tourists. "Such Forums last year already took place in Kiev and Odessa. World experience shows that airports play a huge role in the economic development of their regions, is an effective motivator for the development of tourist infrastructure. Chernivtsi airport during its 80-year history has always been an important factor in the success of our region. That's why now, despite the difficult situation in the state through external aggression, the community of Chernivtsi is making significant efforts to preserve the utility of the airline, the resumption of the role of aviation in development of Bukovina and wants to use the experience of other regions, our European neighbors. I am convinced that the recommendations of the participants of the forum will be interesting and useful for us, and many airlines and tour operators will discover Chernivtsi and Bukovina" - said mayor Alex Kaspruk.
