In Lutsk city Council discussed the fee for temporary use of location of advertising funds
Held a “round table” on discussion of fees for temporary use of location of advertising devices in the city by 2016. The meeting was organized by the appeal of Volyn Association of advertisers, on behalf of the operators of outdoor advertising. Opening the meeting, the head of Department of development of business and advertising Alexander Kozlyuk said that they received an appeal from operators of outdoor advertising with a request to revise the amount of payment for temporary use of location of advertising funds. He noted that in 2014-2015 they had a discount, because the city Council was sympathetic to their requests. Despite this, they paid the lowest amount among all of their colleagues in other regional centers of Western Ukraine. Alexander Kozlyuk said that with Xun 1, 2016 they have to pay the full amount. In accordance with the applicable legal and normative acts have been adjusting prices for inflation and is 1250 USD per month for a single plane in the Central parts of the city. The operators of outdoor advertising have noted that the new price is high and they will not be able to operate normally. According to them, they will be forced to raise the price of their services, which would entail the loss of customers. They noticed that and now many planes are empty, because entrepreneurs have placed less advertising. Therefore, they have asked city authorities to offer in 2016 at least at the level of 2015 — 30 %. The head of Department of development of business and advertising Alexander Kozlyuk said that the city government always supports the business and contributes his works, however, the city needed funds for the operation of kindergartens, schools, health institutions, culture and the like. In the end, he suggested that the operators of outdoor advertising a 25% discount. Given its entrepreneurs will pay a single plane approximately 937 USD. However, this exemption is valid from February 1, following approval at a meeting of the Executive Committee and after collection of all accounts receivable. Alexander Kozlyuk said that the draft decision he will prepare. However, operators expressed a desire to have a discount of 30 % for the temporary use of the location of advertising devices in the city of Lutsk and write the corresponding letter addressed to the mayor.
