About efficient use of local peat resources, the recovery of production activity of the subsidiary "Shumsky factory has" SE "Podersdorf" and the use of derivatives in the district was discussed during working meeting of the Chairman of the district state administration Yury Holovatiuk with the General Director of GC "Ukrtorf" Andrew Sercomm. "For the area this is a highly relevant question, because in the future the company will be able to increase the volume of production of various peat production for fuel and fertilizer for domestic consumption and also to organize exports, said the head of the RGA. As a result, Sumina will be able to provide the district and the area of peat briquettes of good quality by setting a reasonable price, and most importantly – to retain existing and create new jobs while increasing revenues. During the meeting, the participants, creating a detailed "road map", discussed ways to resume the work of Shumsky turf factory, outlined the prospects for exports of peat products in the area beyond.
