In Zhitomir rescuers liquidated a fire in the attic of the dormitory of the boarding school
24 January at 19:37 in Service of rescue "101" received a report of a fire in the bedroom building of the boarding school No. 9, located in the regional center. To the place of call was sent two divisions of fire of the 2nd state fire and rescue unit of the city of Zhitomir. On arrival at the scene’it turned out that the fire was in the attic storey of the dormitory from the bathroom. School staff have already been evacuated from the housing 26 children who were placed in neighbouring residential premises. 19:57 of SSES units localized the fire and quickly prevented further spread of fire on trees’the wooden structures of the floors. 20:40 it was completely eliminated. The fire burned sqm 2 floors and 5 sqm of roof. The cause of the fire is established now by experts.
