Silver Lutsk result of the veteran teams at the international tournament in Brest
22-24 January, two veterans of the Lutsk team “NIKO Veteran Luchesk” and “Polytechnic”, at the invitation of the Brest public Association “Football club “Adams”, participated in the XIV Ravana international mini-football tournament among veterans 35 years and older and 45 years and older in Brest (Belarus). In the group of younger veterans, which competed against 10 teams from Ukraine, Poland and Belarus, in the first group stage “NIKO Veteran” surely had their fights. In the first game, with the team of FC “Bobry”(Minsk, Belarus), Lutsk team played in a draw 1:1 (goal scored by Igor Monica). The second - a confident victory with the score 5:0 over the Polish club “be?chat?w” (twice Igor Zabolotnyy, Dmitriy Pervanjuk, Andrew Vunic, Igor MONUC). The third game, the opponents also won 3:1 (twice Mr Pervanjuk, Andrew Vunic). Thus, gaining seven points, the veterans took first place in their group and got right in stikova the game to compete for the highest awards. The final game against the winner of group “A” - FC “Yatran-80” (Uman, Ukraine), was the last and became the present ornament of tournament. The first half Volyn conceded to the champion of Cherkassy region 0:1. At the beginning of the second half, two mistakes before unleashing make the score 3:0 in favor of the opponent. However, as time relentlessly passed, the opponent went on the defensive, but our guys, as always, lacked a little bit of time. Therefore 2:3 and the exciting — the winners of the tournament in the group 35+. Lutsk “NIKO Veteran Luchesk” in second place and the hosts — FC “Adams” in third place. Also successful was the performance in the group 45+ team ”Lutsk Polytechnic University”, which fought against four Belarusian teams. In the first game, the opponents conceded to FC “Kandzhiya” (Minsk, Belarus) with the score 0:3. However, they did not lose heart and having collected will in a fist, and analyzing the mistakes of the first game, confidently spent the next fights. In the second game, with the team FC “Adams” (Brest), Luciani celebrated the victory with the score 3:0 (twice the Asshole Ivan, Igor Kalyuzhny). The third game with the team of FC “Grodno” also ended with the victory of Lutsk policehouse with the score 3:0 (twice Igor Titarenko, Alexander Pateychuk). In order to become the winner of the tournament, Luhansk team in the last game against FC “Energetik” (Mogilev), needed only a victory. The match was tense. The opponents took the lead 1:0 (Ivan Kozel), however, to win them failed. Therefore, draw 1:1 and yielded seven points — Lutsk team as last year — the second, and “energetic” is the champion. Third place was taken by veterans FC “Adams”. At the closing ceremony of the tournament for the Lutsk team occupied the second places were awarded with cups of the corresponding degrees. Also, the organizers gave awards to the best players of the tournament so far. Andrew Wonica (NICO) best defender, and Igor Monica (NICO) - the best striker in the younger veteran group. Igor Kalyuzhny (Polytechnic) - best defender among the older, and Ivan Kozel (Polytechnic) - received the audience award.
