In Vinnytsia region during receiving 1 thousand dollars of illegal profits exposed of the militiaman
the Prosecutor's office of Vinnytsia region together with employees of security service of Ukraine detained the investigator of one of departments of regional police with extortion and obtaining the latest improper benefits in the amount of $ 1,000. The militiaman demanded cash in these individuals for making the decision on closing of criminal proceedings on the theft. On the specified fact in the Unified register of pretrial investigations included information about criminal offenses under part 3 of article 368 of the criminal code of Ukraine. The priority now carried out urgent investigative actions directed on gathering and fixing of proofs of fault of the official. Optional: part 3 of article 368 UK of Ukraine (obtaining illegal benefit by the official which holds responsible position), which entails responsibility in the form of deprivation of liberty for a period from n’five to ten years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to three years, with confiscation of property and with special confiscation.
