Vinnytsia and 2015 increased meat production
According to Main Directorate of statistics in the Vinnitsa region, the year 2015 in all categories of farms produced (implementation) 427,6 thousand tons of meat, or 60.8 thousand tons (16,6 %) more than in the previous year. Agricultural enterprises during this period produced 371,1 thousand tons of meat, or 64 thousand tons (20.8 percent) more than in 2014. Most of the meat sold by agricultural enterprises trostianetsky district - 199,4 thousand tons and Tulchin – 139.8 thousand tons. Average daily weight gain of cattle in 2015 increased compared with the previous year, to 15 grams or 2.7 % and amounted to 564 grams. Higher weight gain of cattle received in agricultural enterprises Litinsky district – 689 grams, Haisyn – 683, liposarcoma – 676, Nemirovsky – 653, Trostyanetsky – 648 grams. Average daily weight gain of pigs remained at the level of the previous year and amounted to 406 grams. The highest increases in agricultural Kryzhopil district – 716 grams, Zhmerinka – 607, Mogilev-Podolsky – 587, liposarcoma – 467, Vinnytsia – 463 grams.
