The Prosecutor's office found that the medical part of the Transcarpathian institution of corrections No. 9 acts on the basis of a license the validity of which has expired
the Prosecutor's office conducted checks on compliance with the constitutional rights of citizens during their stay in detention in remand prison sector of the Transcarpathian institution of corrections No. 9. The test involved the specialists from territorial medical facilities and sanitary-epidemiological service, which implemented the bypass chamber premises of the institution where hold detained and convicted persons, measured relative to the temperature mode, humidity, lighting, checked the status of the institution ensure personal hygiene, disinfection, medical supplies and tools, conducted medical consultations in’the prisoners. Special attention is paid to issues of food quality inmates, the conformity of meals with the established standards for their calorie and vitamin content. By results of check it is established that the medical care in"prisoners meets the requirements of the legislation, however, in Transcarpathian SCP No. 9 continued time is not solved the issue regarding the provision of staff medical personnel posts of TB specialist, psychiatrist and dermatologist. Furthermore it is established that the activities of medical institutions is carried out on the basis of the license issued by the Ministry of health’I, however, the validity of accreditation is not restored, which is a violation "of the Procedure of accreditation of institutions of health’I", which has been approved by resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 15.07.1997 No. 765. To remedy these violations of law by the Prosecutor's office of area the head of the institution submitted an instruction which is pending. Specified by the prosecution is taken under control.
