Sarnenskiy local Prosecutor's office participation in consideration of materials of criminal proceedings on the fact of committing by a group of persons a criminal offence under part 3 of article 187 of the criminal code of Ukraine (the robbery connected to penetration into housing). So, in the summer of last year in one of villages of the Volodymyrets district of Rivne region four guys, among them two minors, upon a preliminary collusion, committed assault on a fellow villager for the purpose of illegal acquisition of property. They entered his dwelling, and, having used physical violence (which resulted in the victim caused bodily injuries of mild severity), demanded that they hand over all the household money. However, to enrich the attackers did not succeed, as this prevented the local residents, who paid a visit to the villager. The indictment in this criminal proceedings was considered Kuznetsovsk city court. During judicial session the accused fully admitted his guilt, repented and asked for forgiveness from the victim. "The results of the trial and the position taken by the public Prosecutor in relation to accomplices convicted. All four sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 4 years. At the same time applying certain provisions of the criminal code and the criminal procedure code of Ukraine regarding humanization of criminal proceedings against minors, the court freed two convicts (both 1997) from serving a sentence for a probationary period of 2 years", - said the head of the Sarny local Prosecutor's office Vadim Topolske. The verdict is not yet in force. The parties to the proceedings have the right to appeal within the period prescribed by law.
