Ternopil custom DFS issued 76 certificates forms "EUR.1"
From 1 January 2016 introduced the economic part of the Association Agreement between Ukraine, on the one hand, and the European Union, the European atomic energy community and their member States, on the other hand, ratified by Law of Ukraine of 16.09.2014, ¹1678-VII (hereinafter – the Agreement). Recall that the certificate form EUR.1 is required for applying preferential rates of import duty or exemption from duty specified in the Agreement and is issued as evidence that the goods conform to the requirements of the rules determining the preferential origin. With the new year the control and issuing of these certificates is carried out by the customs authorities. Also one of the points of the Agreement provides the granting and cancellation by the customs authority of status of authorized (approved) exporter. The advantage of using the status of authorized (approved) exporter is that to obtain tariff preferences for Ukrainian exporter of the goods without clearance certificate for the carriage of form EUR.1 independently determines and declares the origin of goods in commercial/shipping documents that will speed up the procedure of export of goods. "In addition, one of the key points of the provisions of the Agreement is the gradual establishment of a free trade area between Ukraine and the European Union. In particular, each party shall reduce or eliminate duties on goods originating in the other hand, according to the charts, for 10 years.
