In Lutsk, the new terms of appointment of some types of government benefits to children
On the implementation of the Law of Ukraine “On amendments to some legislative acts of Ukraine” from 24.12.2015 No. 911-VIII by the Government on 25 December of the current year a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On amendments to some resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine” No. 1181. The specified normative legal act from January 1, 2016 provided: - providing temporary assistance to children whose parents evade paying alimony in the amount that equals the difference between the 50% of the subsistence minimum for a child of relevant age and average monthly total income of the family per one person for the previous six months. The temporary benefit is paid every six months beginning with the month in which the application with all necessary documents. If the statement is not accompanied by all necessary documents, the Department of social policy informs the recipient about what documents must be submitted within a month. The decision to appoint or refuse to appoint temporary assistance is made by the Department of social policy within 10 calendar days after receipt of all required documents. The terms and the amount of temporary assistance, which is paid in the case of appointment by the court of the amount of the alimony in a firm sum of money remained unchanged and are appointed in accordance with paragraph 2 of article 8 of the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 22.02.2006 ¹189 (equal to the difference between the amount of alimony and the amount that is 30% of the subsistence minimum established by law for a child of appropriate age). - cancellation of a guaranteed amount of aid for children of single mothers (30% of the subsistence minimum for a child of appropriate age) and to provide such assistance in an amount equal to the difference between 100% of the subsistence minimum for a child of relevant age and average monthly total income of the family per one person for the previous six months. If single persons have applied for extension of benefits subject to the income year 2015 and the period of payment of accounts for 2016, the payment to such persons taking into account the increased amount of the allowance continues until the end of the period of appointment without contacting the Department of social policy. For the purpose of social protection of children who are brought up single parents the Government retained the right to receive from 1 January 2016 child benefit and single mothers temporary assistance to children whose parents evade paying alimony, the persons who seek its continuation with the new conditions in the period from January to March 2016. Such citizens must complete the application and Declaration of income and property status of persons who have applied for the purpose of all types of social assistance (to be filled on the basis of certificates of income for each family member) for 6 months (July — December 2015). Persons who will apply for benefits for the first time she will be appointed with the month of application for her appointment and the family income will be defined for 6 months at the time of applying for assistance.
