In Chernihiv city Council meeting of urban operational headquarters for coordination of actions to prevent the spread of influenza and SARS in the territory of the city of Chernihiv chaired by the Deputy mayor Olga Honch. The meeting was attended by members of the operational staff – the heads of structural subdivisions of city Council, representatives of medical institutions of the city and the local media. The chief of epidemiological Department of Chernihiv city Department of the Main Department of state sanitary and epidemiological service of Ukraine in Chernihiv region Svetlana Alandarenko told about the sanitary-epidemic situation of influenza and SARS in the city. According to her, since the beginning of the epidemic season (from October 2015) 3558 sick people. Over the past week - 1401 persons, from them children - 670 (47.8 percent). Just registered 83 cases of influenza, excess of epidemic threshold of 34.7%. As of 16 clinically confirmed positive cases of influenza ÀH1N1. Registered 3 deaths from the flu, all of them from the group medical risk of influenza. S. Alandarenko drew attention to the fact that the city vaccinated against the flu, only 49 people. Deputy head of the Department of health of the city Council Olga Malets once again reminded about basic security tools and told about the readiness of health care institutions of the city to work in the conditions of epidemic of flu. According to her, all medical institutions are transferred to 7-day working week, provided the vehicles and increased the number of inpatient beds at the hospitals. "The medical staff is in full readiness", - said O. Malets. In addition, heads of departments of the city Council reported on the condition of carrying out of restrictive anti-epidemic measures to prevent the spread of the flu and SARS. We remind you that as of January 22, on the territory of the city of Chernihiv introduced restrictive anti-epidemic measures, including the restriction of mass actions, sick workers are not allowed to work, ensuring optimal working conditions at workplaces, workers of preschool institutions, trade, restaurant business, transport, communication and other public institutions must adhere to the mask mode. Deputy mayor Olga Hanc appealed to all residents to observe elementary rules of hygiene, to maintain the hygienic control in the premises, to eat more vitamins, not to visit places of a mass congestion of people, to spend more time outdoors, to spend explanatory work with the staff of enterprises and organizations.
