In Volyn region the inhabitant of the Stone-Kashirsky who killed her husband,needs the application of compulsory measures of medical character
the Prosecutor of the region approved and sent to court materials of criminal proceedings with the petition for application of forced measures of medical character concerning 49-the summer inhabitant of the Stone-Kashira, October 11 last year killed her husband. That tragic morning, the woman found in the attic of his own house gun with the device for silent shooting when loaded with 10 cartridges, and after a family quarrel made n’five aimed shots at the man. From the received gunshot wounds he died. During pre-judicial investigation'revealed that, according to the conclusion it is judicial-the medical expert, the woman at the time of Commission of crime was in a state of insanity, unaware of our own intentional criminal acts and directed them due to chronic mental illness. So the police ask the court to take a decision on the application to it of forced measures of medical character in the form of hospitalization in a mental institution with strict supervision. Reference: under part 5 of article 94 of the Criminal code of Ukraine, hospitalization in a mental institution with strict supervision may be applied by the court in respect of a mentally ill who have committed socially dangerous acts, floor’connected with the encroachment on the lives of others, as well as in respect of a mentally ill, his mental state and character committed a socially dangerous act is particularly dangerous for society and needs to be content in a psychiatric institution and treatment in conditions of rigorous supervision.
