The Prosecutor's office of Rivne region summed up the results of work for last year and defined the tasks for the next period
In the Prosecutor's office of Rivne region held an extended operational meeting chaired by the Prosecutor of the region Anatoly Kovalchuk, which discussed the results of work of prosecution bodies of the region in 2015 and tasks for the next period in terms of legislative changes and reform. In the meeting took part the Deputy Prosecutor of the region, the staff of the regional office, heads of local prosecution offices and heads of departments of these public Prosecutor's offices. An operational meeting was opened by the Prosecutor of the region Anatoly Kovalchuk, who informed that last year the reorganization of the Prosecutor's offices of the local (district) level was held smoothly and successfully, while maintaining continuity and efficiency of implementation of functions of the Prosecutor's office. Managed to influence the stabilization of a criminogenic situation, strengthening the rule of law in the region. In the future the result of the work of the newly established Prosecutor's offices should be a real specific experience. The Prosecutor of the region Anatoly Kovalchuk drew attention to the necessity of increasing efforts for realization of those measures and tasks set by the President of Ukraine, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine and the society. Priorities for law enforcement agencies in the region are the preservation of the Foundation States the state borders and territorial integrity, crushing the fight against corruption, protection of mineral resources, primarily in the extraction of amber, the content of the budget. Should continue a course of transparency of activities of bodies of Prosecutor's office, in particular. With a detailed analysis of the legality and effectiveness of proposals to the relevant directions were made by the Deputy Prosecutor of the region. In particular, the Deputy Prosecutor of the region Andrey Borovik noted that thanks to the concerted efforts of all law enforcement agencies in the region, as well as cooperation with the public the crime rate in the area remains among the lowest in the state and crime is 95.6 per 10 thousand population. Last year was neutralized in the region 5 organized criminal groups. Constantly work continued on the prevention, detection and suppression of offenses in the sphere of subsoil use. Law enforcement agencies of the region sent to the court 64 criminal proceedings concerning corruption offences, which enrolled 65 people. The results of effective activity of Executive and other work told the Deputy Prosecutor of the region Evgeny Ryaboi. In particular, the courts considered and satisfied more than 300 claims of Prosecutor's office, stated in defense of the violated rights of citizens and interests of the state, which collected 58 million. Returned and warned the illegal allocation of 82 hectares of land. Prosecutors actually defended housing, property, social rights of 435 children. They recovered to 320 thousand UAH scholarships, lump-sum cash benefits and other social benefits. Last year prosecutors decided to over 4 thousand citizens. During this event there were presented the heads of local prosecution offices (Dubno, Zdolbuniv, Rivne and Sarny) on the establishment of the organization of work in subordinate collectives and the main existing problems in their activities.
