National Bank worsened the GDP growth forecast for

the national Bank of Ukraine has lowered its forecast of Ukraine's GDP growth for 2016 to 1.1% from 2.4%, leaving unchanged inflation forecast at 12%. It is reported by the Bank press service with reference to the Board's decision on monetary policy. It is reported . «Less dynamic recovery compared to the previous year due to lower than expected prices on world commodity markets, the deteriorating growth prospects of the global economy, new restrictions on trade with Russia and transit through it», – notes the NBU. Among other factors that support the trend the slowdown in inflation, the Board of the Bank indicates a further decline in inflation expectations, the abolition of the additional import duty, as well as low world prices on energy and food. The state budget of Ukraine for 2016 was adopted on the basis of forecast GDP growth of 2% with inflation at 12%.
