Beginning his speech, the Prosecutor of the region noted that law enforcement agencies in the region operate in the conditions of reforming of the entire law enforcement system of Ukraine. Consequently, its success, the results of our work depend on the professionalism, the responsibility of each employee. “Thanks to the work of law enforcement agencies in the region below the crime rate on 10 thousand of population, reduced the number of murders, serious and particularly serious crimes, enhanced activity in combating corruption offenses criminal law means. High is the level of disclosure of criminal offences” - said’Vyacheslav Sokolovi. “But we are not satisfied. We have no right to close our eyes to the problematic issues in law enforcement. It is up to us the public expects an effective and well-coordinated efforts in the struggle against such negative phenomena. So you need to change the forms and methods of combating crime, to change attitudes to the implementation of the functions of law enforcement bodies to bring the results of our work in compliance to new evaluation criteria”, emphasized the head of Department.
