In Khmelnytsky oblast, an oral journal on fire and technogenic safety
27 January this year on the basis of Khmelnitsky regional universal scientific library with the participation of teaching staff of Educational-methodical center of civil protection and life safety in Khmelnitsky region and Khmelnytsky city rescue management of GU gschs of Ukraine in the Khmelnitsky region with the students of the College of Commerce and Economics, an oral journal on the topic: "Fire and technogenic safety". As noted by head of the Department of industrial literature libraries Galina Bosuk, the topic of production formulated in such a way as to cover the defining issues of safety. Each page of the magazine – this is a separate issue, which was covered by a separate specialist. During the event the employees of the Centre together with the students reiterated that such emergency situations, told about their classification by the nature of the occurrence and scale. Before the audience brought the analysis of emergency situations and accidents that have occurred in 2015. The knowledge the children have used, having tried independently to classify an emergency situation that occurred in the Region last year and this year. Introducing the page "Fire safety" senior Lieutenant of civil defense Ruslan Nester told about the main causes of fires, adopting the necessary measures to prevent their occurrence, as well as the rules of conduct in case of disaster. Industrial training master of regional and city courses Khmelnitsky Yuri Malinov presented to the audience page «techno security", citing examples of resonance extraordinary situations of technogenic nature, which have occurred both in Ukraine and abroad. In addition, a special interest aroused in acquaintance with the devices of radiation, chemical reconnaissance and radiation control. Children independently measured background radiation in the room, using the nitrate tester’set the content of harmful elements in fruit and vegetables. In conclusion, head of the laboratory of visual teaching AIDS Centre Tatiana Romasyukov conducted the interview using the elements of the game, during which the participants demonstrated not only a mastery of the material, but also the ability to use knowledge in practice. About the effectiveness of the event showed the activity of students and their rave reviews after the completion of the journal.
