Prosecutors Rivne region provides realization of the right of access to public information
On the implementation of the requirements of the law of Ukraine "On access to public information" and the decree of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine from 30.12.2015 ¹ 430 "On organization of activity of bodies of Prosecutor's office with personal reception, consideration of applications and ensuring access to public information" bodies of Prosecutor's office of Rivne region for 2015 has taken measures aimed at ensuring right to information for everyone. There is a steady trend to a significant increase in the number of requests for information that come to the Prosecutor's office. If in 2014 he received 109 requests for information, in 2015 – 122, which is 11% larger. From the total number of examined queries 70 (or 71%) treated by the regional Prosecutor's office, 29 (29%) – subordinate prosecutors. 60 queries provided information on 37 clarification. Only 2 requests have been denied information in connection with its assignment to a category with restricted access and from other grounds specified by Law of Ukraine "On access to public information". All requests are considered within the statutory five-day period. The vast majority of requests for information received from citizens – 59; the media sent 46 requests, other public organizations and associations – 17. Changes are not only quantitative but also qualitative composition. In particular, compared with last year increased the number of examined requests on personnel issues (17 or 17.2% of reviewed) and pre-trial investigation (18 or 18.2 % from examined). This is due to the increased interest of the society to results of carrying out of reforming of bodies of Prosecutor's office of Ukraine, the Prosecutor's office investigation of resonant criminal proceedings and the like. They also discussed the requests on the issues of organizational-administrative activity (12), of which 5 - on the provision of statistical information; 4 requests are considered for the representation of interests of citizens and the state in court; on other issues considered by the 48 queries. The questioner is interested in obtaining information on the activities of the subordinate Prosecutor's offices. Thus, the Prosecutor's office of Rivne reviewed 9 requests of the city Kuznetsovsk - 5, 3 requests are reviewed by prosecutors and Radivilivskogo Sarnensky areas. Despite active outreach, continue to be evidence of direction by the citizens information inquiries, usually in electronic form, which by their content are actually references. Mostly in the form of the request for information the citizens requested to provide legal assistance or answers to questions that must be addressed in the manner prescribed by the Law of Ukraine "On citizens 'appeals". In such cases, employees of the Department of organization of reception of citizens, consideration of complaints and queries, referring with understanding to each applicant, provided clarification on the decision affected matters in accordance with the requirements of the law of Ukraine "On citizens 'appeals".
