Installed 5 facts obtaining undue advantage by the Deputy Director of Department of the Rivne regional state administration
the Prosecutor's office of Rivne region approved and sent to the court indictment against a Deputy Director of one of Departments of the Rivne regional state administration who demanded and received undue benefit totaling UAH 11300. Pre-judicial investigation on suspicion of officials in the Commission of a criminal offense under part 3 St. 368 criminal code of Ukraine (acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of unlawful benefit by the official which holds responsible position, combined with extortion), was conducted by investigators GU the National police in Rivne region. Recall that officials of the Department had denounced the prosecutors and the security service 30.07.2015 in obtaining 5600 UAH from the representative of the company for assistance in issuing permits for special water use. During pre-judicial investigation produced overwhelming evidence 4 facts of extortion and receiving by the Deputy Director of the Department of unlawful benefit in the amount of 5,700 USD. Now the fate of an official will determine the Rivne city court. Sanction incriminated article of the Criminal code of Ukraine prescribes punishment in the form of imprisonment by term from 5 till 10 years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to 3 years and with property confiscation.
