In Chernivtsi region, experts of gschs together with representatives of the Mission assessing the work of the world Food Programme discussed the issues of rendering humanitarian assistance to internally displaced persons

January 28 took place the meeting of representatives of gschs with representatives of the Mission assessing the work of the world Food Programme of the United Nations. During the meeting the participants discussed the situation regarding relocation of Ukrainian citizens from areas of the antiterrorist operation, the level of social security, the food needs of the residents of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, the delivery and distribution of humanitarian assistance. In particular, the Director of the Department of resource provision of SSES Ruslan Beloshitsky noted that from the beginning of the ATO in Eastern Ukraine rescue workers constantly deliver national and international humanitarian aid for the residents of the East and settlers. In turn, international expert on food security Assessment John Prout noted that the world food Programme, the UN began work in Ukraine in 2014 and ever since has been providing humanitarian assistance to the most vulnerable population among the residents of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
