Chernihiv city Council approved the Program of support of public organizations of Chernigiv for 2016
At the plenary meeting of the 3rd session of the 7th convocation deputies approved the Program of support of public organizations of Chernigiv for 2016. The program is aimed at financial support of public organizations of disabled persons, veterans, families and citizens caught in difficult life circumstances, as well as those organizations that provide free legal aid to vulnerable populations and victims of human rights violations. Only from the city budget of Chernihiv will receive financial assistance to 17 community organizations. The chief administrator of funds is the Executive Committee of the city Council. In the process of lively discussion, most members agreed to include three civil society organizations that appealed to the city Council for funding, and make changes to the funding of one of the organizations. By a majority vote deputies made changes and additions and approved the Program of support of public organizations of Chernigiv for 2016.
