On the fact of violation of fire safety regulations which have allegedly led to a fire in a Department store "Ukraine" initiated an investigation
Uzhgorod local Prosecutor's office is performed procedural management in criminal proceedings on the fact of violation established by the legislation of fire safety requirements, which caused property damage in especially large size in a fire at the Mall «Ukraine"(part 2 of article 270 of the criminal code of Ukraine) Started the specified criminal proceedings the Investigative Department of Uzhgorod police Department SEPL in the field. According to first Deputy head of the local Prosecutor's office of Uzhgorod Ivan Savko, on the 1st floor of the Department store «Ukraine», in m. Uzhgorod there was a fire in the premises. At the scene, along with investigative-operative group went to the head of the local Prosecutor's office of Uzhgorod Dmitri Kirilenko. To eliminate the consequences of the fire were attracted 80 people of staff of Uzhgorod consolidated group Management DSNS in the Transcarpathian region and 12 units of special equipment. As a result of fire damage to life and health’s citizens is not caused, however, significant material damage is caused the amount of which is now being installed. At the present time, fire suppression was completed, carried out an external inspection of the business premises, are the lessees and the cause of the fire, on a scene works it is investigative-task force.
