In Chernihiv region the malfunction of the heating stove led to the fire houses
31 January at 12:13 rescue Service "101" in Ichnya district received a message about the fire of a private house in the village Gurovka. On call to the scene came another guard state fire and rescue units from the district center. At that moment there was intense burning of the roof of the house. Firefighters immediately started to extinguish, which was complicated by strong wind gusts and the opportunity to transfer the flames to neighboring buildings. The fire at 12:25 localized, and at 13:50 eliminated. Thanks to prompt actions, rescuers prevented the spread of fire to nearby two outbuildings. Probable cause of the fire was a crack in the flue of the heating furnace from which the sparks fell on trees’wooden structures of the floor and the hay stored away in the attic. Fortunately, none of the owners were not injured.
