In Lutsk the soldiers-internationalists received pam'commemorative medals “25 years of withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan”

In the Palace of culture of the city of Lutsk were awarded commemorative medals “25 years since troop withdrawal from Afghanistan” more than 150 participants of combat actions on the territory of the Republic of Afghanistan during the period 1979-1989 and disabled veterans among them. On this occasion, soldiers-internationalists congratulated mayor Mykola Romaniuk, Deputy mayor Sergei Grigorenko, chief of the State service for veterans of war and participants of anti-terrorist operation Andrey Omelchuk, the head of Volyn regional organization of the Ukrainian Union of Afghan veterans Gregory p.. “Never forget your heroism and your experiences . And many of you dream of this war. Respect and eternal memory to those who never returned from the war, who died after the war from wounds or other ailments,” said the mayor, and encouraged to honor those who died in the war a minute of silence.
