Vinnytsia public organization "Harmony" presented a new social project
Vinnytsia public organization of young people with disabilities "Harmony" announced a competition for participation in the project "Pilot program for the protection of internally displaced persons with disabilities". The aim of the project is to strengthen the social movement of persons with disabilities and enhance professionalism in the field of human rights leaders of public associations of people with disabilities in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Vinnytsia and Kharkiv regions. To participate in the project are invited conscious citizens, who live in Vinnytsia region who are willing and able to change the lives of persons with disabilities on the location, and also have the opportunity to participate in the program from February to June 2016. It is planned that the participants will form a human rights network with local centers in each region, which will operate the program, and will work on improving the level of protection of the rights of internally displaced persons with disabilities and represent their interests in local government. Requirements to the candidate who wants to take part in the competition: – aged 16 to 45 years; – the official status of the immigrant; – any category of disability; – experience in active public work in the city, the area in the past; – the opportunity to participate in School coaches in Vinnitsa from 25 to 28 February 2016 (applications for participation will be accepted until 15 February). Also, project participants are encouraged to create a community of people with disabilities-migrants in the city, and the candidate preferably be a member of public organizations with disabilities. Project participants will be provided with accommodation, meals and will be reimbursed for transportation costs. The project "Pilot program for the protection of internally displaced persons with disabilities" is a public organization "Foundation of human rights" and Vinnytsia public organization of young people with disabilities "Harmony" in the framework of the project "Unite for reforms" implemented by the international organization "Pact in Ukraine with the support of the U.S. Agency for international development (USAID).
