Zhytomyr: state of flu and ARVI in the field to 03.02.2016
According to the Department of health regional administration, for the last day in the field of ORVI and a flu were ill 2429 people, including children – 986, adults – 1443, pregnant women – 16. Deaths from influenza and its complications are not registered. Excess of an epidemic threshold remains at around 6%. Reference According to the operative data of the Ministry of health of Ukraine since the beginning of epidemic season (28.09.2015) in Ukraine registered more than 3.2 million patients with influenza and SARS (8.3% of population). The highest rate of flu and acute respiratory viral infections is observed among the population of Kyiv region and Kyiv, and the lowest – in the Transcarpathian and Kharkiv regions. Total in Ukraine since the beginning of the epidemic season in Ukraine were hospitalized with preliminary diagnosis "Influenza" and "Acute respiratory viral infection" 129 thousand people (3.9% of cases), of which 67.7 percent are children under the age of 17.
