Outbreak of hepatitis A recorded in the Ternopil region
Main Directorate gossanepidsluzhby in Ternopil region reports outbreak of hepatitis A among students of Ternopil higher vocational school ¹ 4. Ill 5 people, including 4 children who are studying in the same group and residing in one block of the hostel of the school. The first case of the disease was registered in December 02, 2015, last – 29 January 2016. All patients with preliminary diagnosis of "Viral hepatitis a" were hospitalized in the infectious Department of the district hospitals and TMDL (by place of residence). Laboratory confirmed the diagnosis in 2 patients (PCR). Today, hospital treatment there are 2 students.
