In the Zhytomyr region Japanese benefactors gave rescuers modern biochemical blood analyzer

The members of the delegation of the Japanese Association "Chernobyl-Chubu Centrair", which is on an official visit is now in the Zhytomyr region, gave the rescuers a biochemical blood analyzer worth 122 thousand UAH. - This blood analyzer produces more than 10 biochemical parameters and will allow to get the result in less than 2 minutes from start of analysis, - says the head of the health part of Galina Plahota. - For many years of charitable support "Chernobyl-Chubu Centrair" we can do more and cardiac, ophthalmologic and gastrointestinal examination. Therefore, on behalf of rescuers and firemen-liquidators of the Chernobyl accident Galina Plahota handed Japanese friends a letter of thanks and memory – the small state emblem of Ukraine. Japanese non-profit Association "Chernobyl-Chubu Centrair" for 25 years helping the Zhytomyr region in overcoming consequences of the Chernobyl accident and, in particular, engaged in fire-emergency workers, employees of gschs and their seven’pits who work and live in Northern radiation-contaminated areas of Zhytomyr region. As told the present Chairman of the charity Fund "to the Firemen of Chernobyl" Boris Chumak, during this time, the organization has provided assistance to the firefighters of Chernobyl in treatment and rehabilitation, purchase of medicines, vitamins and wheelchairs, technical retrofitting, health and other needs – all for the sum about 600 thousand dollars. To raise funds attached of the Japanese population. This year, the most active were moms that decided to use the raised funds to support health’I liquidators, which every year becomes less and less. So 29 years after the Chernobyl accident prematurely passed away already 100 employees of fire protection, which in April-may of 1986 took part in liquidation of consequences of the accident. After reviewing the work of the centre, members of the Japanese delegation had the opportunity to ensure that their assistance is effective and implemented. The Chairman of the Association «Chernobyl-Chubu Centrair" Tomio'hara assured that will continue to assist rescuers – the liquidators of the Chernobyl accident.
