In the Rivne region for the death of a villager – 7 years of imprisonment
On such punishment the public Prosecutor insisted before the court for the pensioner with Dubenschiny, for the fact that he had beaten to death his friend. This event happened in July of last year. The apartment of 60-year-old Ivan was visited by a neighbor. The men dined first. And then started a quarrel, during which the guest caused to the owner a punch in the face. The latter grabbed a wooden chair and in response struck the villager at least 5 times in the head. On this the fight stopped. After a while Ivan noticed that the neighbor doesn't give life signs and called the ambulance. Upon arrival, the doctors stated the death of a 65-year-old man. Subsequently, as was established by forensic examination, the cause of death of the victim began a brain hemorrhage from inflicted blows to the head. The pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings was carried out by the police (militia) for procedural guidance Dubno local Prosecutor's office. - In court the suspect has repented, explained that the act only wanted to teach the villager, but not to end human life, said the public Prosecutor, the Prosecutor Dubno local Prosecutor's office Oleg Stetsyuk. - Agreeing with the position of the prosecution, Dubno 03.02.2016 gorrayonny court recognised the man guilty of a criminal offense under part 2 of article 121 of the criminal code of Ukraine (intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm resulting the death of the victim) and sentenced to 7 years imprisonment.
