Volyn region: rescuers continue to work to prevent fires in the home
5 February employees of Kovel city Department and rescue DPRP-21 SMT. Goloby UDSNS Ukraine in the Volyn region, together with representatives of village Council and social workers conducted a comprehensive testing of settlements on the territory of the village Council Drozdenko. During preventive RAID, directed on prevention of emergence of fires in inhabited sector and death of people, rescuers spent roses’outreach and advocacy efforts and also provided recommendations on elimination of the revealed infringements of fire prevention in homes. Special attention to the civil defense specialists have been focusing on homes where lonely elderly, socio-economically disadvantaged people and families. In the course of preventive RAID rescuers handed over to the citizens leaflets and handbooks with the rules of fire safety in the home, and also stressed the need for strict compliance with fire safety requirements in homes at operation of oven heating.
