In Lviv held a training gathering of senior staff of civil protection of the Lviv region
5 February in Lviv at the state company «arena Lviv» held trainings for senior management of civil protection of the Lviv region on summarizing the work of the Lviv territorial subsystem unified state system of civil protection in 2015 with demonstration of the exercises on liquidation of consequences of emergency situations. The exercises were conducted under the guidance of the head of Lviv regional state administration – the head of the Lviv territorial subsystem unified state system of civil protection Oleg Sinutko. To participate in the exercise attracted the senior members of the Department of civil protection LOG, chairmen of district state administrations, city mayors of cities of regional value, fire and rescue units of the Main Directorate of SSES of Ukraine in Lviv region, the 2nd special response center DSNs Ukraine, Municipal establishment of Lviv regional Council «Lviv regional center of emergency medical care disaster medicine", General Directorate of national police in the Lviv region, Control of the patrol police in Lviv, chipboard «Lviv state interregional enterprise of" HUGO "radon", Lviv Central diving rescue service and other public utilities. Note that in 2015 in the Lviv region registered 5 emergencies arose 4454 fire, which killed 72 people and injured 76 people, 7 of them children. Overall for 2015 in the region were killed 501 people and injured 3121. Fire and rescue units of the Main Department for the year 455 people saved, and on fire - 94 people, including 16 children. Analyzing the statistics, we see that the effective interaction between all emergency services will quickly and efficiently respond to hazardous events and to prevent their occurrence. During the integrated demonstration of the exercises, a demonstration of the equipment and means of mechanization, control and sustainment in the field. In particular, during the exercises are performed such exercises: conduct emergency rescue work according to the results of the conditional accident during transportation of chemical dangerous substances and identifying the source of ionizing radiation, suppression of a conditional fire, rescue at heights with the help of firefighters of fire motor ladders and cranked lifts, rescue of persons using climbing equipment, evacuation of casualties, deployment, and operation of the sorting areas for victims in the prehospital phase and the protection of public order and traffic management. To conduct aviation reconnaissance in test mode was used the drone. Unmanned aircraft can perform in-line with the exploration of places of emergency: accident or release of hazardous chemicals, elimination of various kinds of fires, terrorist attacks and the like. The leadership of the region in the long term plans to replenish the material basis of the Lviv rescuers in such a drone. This will help to more effectively and efficiently to monitor the situation with a scene. On completion of exercises took place summarizing the results of the educational gathering, the hearing of the Chairpersons of district and city commissions on issues of technogenic-ecological safety and emergency situations, heads of regional specialized services of civil protection of the state and readiness to perform tasks of protection of population and territories from emergency situations, setting objectives for the next year. During his address to the participants of the exercises the Chairman of Lviv regional state administration Oleg synyutka said: “ each resident of Lviv region now in the soul there is a concern. Conduct such exercises and their reporting in the media will allow us to reassure people in such troubled times. Indeed, we show that it is ready to help, ready to respond and people need us to believe – this is the main task". The representative of the authorities noted that during the exercise, everything was done professionally, and he will gladly shake the hand of every practitioner. In turn, the chief of head Department gschs of Ukraine in Lviv oblast Sergey Dmitrov addressed to representatives of local and district councils: “We must be prepared for all the challenges that we prepare now. Important for us is to work with people and monitoring the situation in the regions. And you, in this situation, is our eyes. So I ask you to take responsibility for fulfilling my request, for the sake of security in the whole region".
