February 7 at 04:33 rescue Service "101" received a report of a fire in m. Lviv on the street. P. Saksaganskogo, 6. Upon arrival of the first fire and rescue units’it turned out that the fire broke out under the staircase on the first floor of a six storey residential building. The fire extinguishing was complicated by strong smoke, which quickly spread to the staircase of the house. Because of the strong smoke rescuers had to work in devices of compressed air. Simultaneously with the suppression firefighters evacuated residents of the house. Rescuers saved 22 people (including 7 children) and evacuated 7 people (including 1 child). The fire is localized at 04:58 and completely eliminated at 05:10 comprising 6 units of gas and smoke protective service. Due to fire the fire destroyed the garbage on the area of 10 sqm, trees’wooden door of the basement. Damaged front door and door of the lobby on the first floor. To the elimination of fire were involved in 8 special vehicles and 31 personnel. In the fire of dead and injured isn't present.
