In the Transcarpathian region, officers of Tyachiv district state administration entailed damage to the interests of the state in the amount of almost UAH 8.5 mln. – the Prosecutor's office initiated criminal proceedings
Tacso local Prosecutor's office initiated criminal proceedings on the fact of abuse of power or official position by officials of the Tyachiv district state administration (part 2 of article 364 of the criminal code of Ukraine). It is established that officials of Tyachiv district state administration, in violation of the requirements of the Land code of Ukraine, without having the right of disposal of land and recreation destination one of business owners of the area had ordered the lease of the land area of almost 2 hectares. In addition, officers of Tyachiv district state administration in August 2008, in violation of land legislation provided a resolution to one of the sub’farming on the collection of materials about the leasing of land for recreational purposes with an area of over 14 hectares worth over 8 million USD. which later was illegally alienated to the data of the sub’object of management through its inclusion as one of the subject of the contract of purchase and sale neruhomogo property. Thus, the actions of officers of Tyachiv district state administration to the interests of the state suffered losses for the sum more than 8,5 mln. The sanction of the aforementioned article provides imprisonment for the term up to six years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities.
