Prosecutors have achieved a fair punishment for lucency that almost killed the cohabitant
Second time using a kitchen knife to attack man, 25-year-old luganchanka going to jail for 5 years. October 10 last year, half an hour before midnight, being in an alcohol SP’intoxication, during the conflict that arose because of jealousy, the woman was stabbed twice in the stomach by his roommate. Fortunately, the man survived. Despite the fact that she was convicted of a felony (within 5 years prior to that, he thrust a knife into the back of his mother, who is also, fortunately, survived), the court of first instance, taking into account the sincere remorse for his actions, guilty plea and assistance to solve the crime, and the fact that the woman has a small child, nominated her for grievous bodily harm punishment below the lowest limit set in the sanction of part 1 of article 121 of the Criminal code of Ukraine. Having appealed against the sentence on appeal, prosecutors insisted on the groundlessness of a m'what punishment, because the woman committed a felony, hardly having released from imprisonment places. Having listened to the arguments of prosecutors, the court of appeal of Volyn region appointed her a sentence of 5 years imprisonment.
