Daily divisions of gschs of Ukraine liquidated hundreds of fires throughout the country, most of which occurs in the residential sector. So, from the beginning of the year in Ukraine appeared 5 417 thousand fires, of which 3 thousand 796 - in the residential sector. Only for last days in Ukraine have any 165 fires (of which 74 – in the residential sector), which killed 10 people and wounded 5. Overall in 2016, the fires have killed 327 people and injured 155. Usually the cause of fires in the residential sector are the people who neglect elementary rules of fire and, primarily, their own safety. The misuse of stoves, Smoking in bed, leaving children unattended, use for heating homemade or non-approved space heaters, overloading the power supply, often lead to fires in the home. That is why the State service of Ukraine for emergency situations warns citizens to take care of proper fire safety condition of private premises to observe the rules of fire safety in the home: - don't smoke in bed; - use for heating only certified heaters; - check the condition and serviceability of the network; - observe the fire safety rules when using individual heating systems and stoves; - do not leave unattended in the grid heating devices, televisions, irons in the event of exit from premises; - try to avoid overload of electric networks, do not turn on at the same time domestic consumers of high power. For adults, pam’to remember that the safety of children depends on their upbringing and conscious attitude to basic rules of fire safety. Do not leave children unattended, keep matches and lighters out of the reach of kids places, tell them about the dangers posed by fire! Almost every fire can be prevented! To do this, be sure to discuss in the family not only measures to prevent a fire, but the order of actions in case of its occurrence: method of calling fire and rescue service, the evacuation of children, the fire at the initial stage, safe routes of exit from the premises.
