M. Chernigov: educational event "Day of fire safety" rescuers spent with the pupils of the kindergarten No. 10
10 February in pre-school educational establishment No. 10 employees of Chernihiv city Department of the office DSNS in the field held with pupils of all age groups an information and educational event called "fire safety Day". Rescuers told the kids about the peculiarities of work of fire rescue and emergency rescue units, and acquainted with the specifics of their profession. Employees of service of rescue in the form of games and age-appropriate drew the children's attention on the main causes of fires, the hazards and the possible consequences of pranks with matches, lighters, gas appliances and other dangerous items and substances. Kindergarten students actively participated in the event, in particular, answered questions and solved riddles on fire safety. To consolidate the knowledge, the children enjoyed a themed cartoons. For the rescuers who came to the celebration, the children prepared songs and poems for fire issues. In turn, the specialists of service of rescue gave the children books, postcards, CDs with cartoons and PSAs that will help them better know the measures of safe behavior and adhere to them in daily life. At the end of the event, the staff and the pupils of the kindergarten thanked the rescuers for providing the holiday and promised to always obey the rules of safe behavior.
