In the Rivne region rescuers told the students about the dangers of explosive devices and taught how to behave in case of detecting them

February 11, rescue 5-th state fire and rescue unit of the city of Dubno carried out educational and preventive activity on the issues of civil protection for students 4-5x class of the local secondary school No. 6. During the lecture, rescuers familiarized students with the basic rules of use of household chemicals, trained actions in case of poisoning, noted the danger of using pyrotechnics. Also, taught children the algorithm of actions in case of various emergencies, detection of explosive and suspicious objects, spoke about the need to strengthen vigilance and security measures in case of detection of suspicious objects, vehicles and persons whose behavior causes suspicion. Employees of the rescue Service told the children: "If you find a suspicious object in any case do not touch him. Move to a safe distance and call the emergency services on the phone "101", or to law enforcement agencies by phone “102”. Before arrival of experts try not to admit to finding other people". Children are also familiarized with the rules of conduct at the time of notification of the population, in particular, when the siren of civil defense sounds "Attention!". In the conclusion of this lecture, the rescuers showed to children the tutorial videos on the issues discussed during the session on civil protection and presented to teachers thematic pam’leaflets and handbooks on the safety rules and procedures for dealing with emergency situations, so that they, in turn, placed them on the stands and message boards that are in school. The conversation was surprisingly interesting and instructive for students, because this knowledge could be useful to them in everyday life.
