the mayor of Ternopol Sergey Nadal was elected head of the Committee of the Association of Ukrainian cities (AUC) on the budget policy. The decision, according to the list of committees and their leaders, adopted the management Board of all-Ukrainian Association of bodies of local self-government "the Association of Ukrainian cities” with the aim of strengthening the role of this body in addressing the most important issues of development of local self-government. “I am grateful to my colleagues for the expressed confidence over the election of me as Chairman of the Committee of the Association of cities of Ukraine on issues of budget policy, - said the head of Ternopil, Sergei Nadal. - Because at the level of Ukraine we need to make the effort and spend a lot of work to implement fiscal decentralization, fiscal to protect the rights of large and small cities, in the process of distribution and use of state budget funds were provided for the needs of their residents". Also this decision were elected chairmen of the Committee on housing and communal services, investment policy and economic development, energy security, territorial communities, international—relations, social assistance and the introduction of local government reform.
