Products for educational institutions of Ternopil are procured through competitive bidding
Products for kindergartens and schools of Ternopil in 2015 were purchased through competitive bidding. Therefore, the information in the newspaper "Number one" that the products of these institutions were purchased at inflated prices, is not true. It tells the Deputy head of the Department of education on financial matters Elena Palicka, all the products are procured through competitive bidding, in accordance with the Law “On state procurement”. Such trades are for educational institutions of the city were held in early 2015, in which the unit price of the goods did not exceed the monitoring of prices for food products that are published on the official website of the Ministry of economic development and trade of Ukraine data of the main Department of statistics in Ternopil region. The Committee on state procurement of the Department of education and science of Ternopil city Council considered all the submitted proposals. The winners, with whom agreements for the supply of corresponding products for pre-school educational institutions are entrepreneurs with a low price offer. During the year, prices for foodstuffs grew, through the Committee on public procurement had every right to raise prices by 10%, considering the claims of entrepreneurs. This is stipulated in the aforementioned Law. Never the price per unit does not exceed the monitoring cost at the date of the increase. The author of the article repeatedly compares the prices according to which imported food products in preschool educational institutions, with prices in the bazaars and fairs, procurement for public sector entities categorically may not be exercised, in accordance with applicable law. Contrary to the author's publication concerning the late payments for delivered products, note that for 2015 the Department of education and science was carried out timely payments to entrepreneurs for imported food products in educational institutions.
