The delegation of the EU visited the Chernigov
Within the framework of the visit of the EU delegation met with representatives of the city Council. The delegation arrived Jurgis VLCCs, head of press and information of the EU delegation, Victoria Davydova, Counsellor for press and information of the EU delegation to Russia, Olga Susicka, coordinator of the information campaign "Building Europe in Ukraine" of the EU. In the Chernigov city Council the guests were met by Deputy mayor Oleksandr Lomako. Welcoming the delegation, A. Lomako noted: ‘the Chernigov has a history of collaboration with the EU and we hope that the cooperation will gain with each year of new momentum and will pdcas new concrete projects". Head of press and information section EU delegation Jurgis VLCCs expressed interest in establishing economic cooperation with Chernihiv. ‘We are ready to work with small and medium business support on access to credit, promotion of goods to the European market, development of projects to obtain grants in various areas of programs, creation of centers of investment services," said Jurgis VLCCs. On coverage of European issues in the Ukrainian media in the context of the beginning of the implementation of the Association agreement Victoria Davydova underscored that the campaign aims to explain the importance of signing the Association agreement between Ukraine and the EU, the spreading of European values and raising awareness of Ukrainians on the development of relations between Ukraine and the EU.
